  • Mountain trekking: There are many itineraries of low or medium difficulty such as the ascent to Pico de las Nieves, El Juncal reservoir circuit, Cerredo Mountain or Candina Mountain. Some of them are marked.
  • Cycling: The wide network of quiet roads and country tracks in the valley provide excellent cycling circuits both for road cycling or mountain biking lovers. Some routes such as the ascents to Puerto de la Granja, Hoyomenor or Las Nieves are of moderate difficulty.
  • Nature watching: The vulture colonies in Sonabia, or the long legged and migratory birds in the marshes next to the river mouth, will delight bird watching lovers.
  • Canoeing: It is practiced in the Agüera river estuary, from the sea up to the El Puente area with an available length of up to 4 kms.
